Sharing the rainbow

These days Year 4 boys and girls are writing about their feelings, favourite hobbies,talents… and also they share with their classmates in a speaking activity.

They have to colour and write about:

RED: somethig fun they did this summer holidays

ORANGE: their favourite memory

YELLOW: their favourite hobby

GREEN: a talent they have

BLUE: something about their family

PURPLE: something that makes they happy

I EAT FRUIT!

Hola famílies de P4!

Els pingüins i els cocodrils han estat treballant les fruites en anglès!

Van començar escoltant una cançó molt divertida de Super Simple Songs: I EAT FRUIT. La cançó parla de què és important menjar fruita cada dia de la setmana així que, també van aprofitar per repassar THE DAYS OF THE WEEK! 

Quan ja sabien tots els noms, van crear un supercollage de fruites. Però sabeu el millor? Vam preparar un mercat de fruites a la classe perquè poguessin comprar les que volien posar al seu collage. D’aquesta manera, van practicar com es pronuncien les paraules i, a més a més, van fer un gran treball en equip ajudant-se quan algun/a company o companya no recordava algun nom.

 

ESCAPE THE CLASSROOM

Last week, 6th grade students completed a digital ESCAPE ROOM game. The game was based on a reading comprehension activity and the aim of this game was to identify general ideas and details in a story. 

They played in groups and each one had a tablet and a Game Pack.  The game was on Google Forms: No boxes, no locks…  When they answered the different questions, they got a CODE. If the code was correct, they passed to the next section. 

The kids answered a lot of questions but they didn’t complain because it was a game😉

The experience was very entertaining and they loved it!!

We will repeat the activity!

Educació emocional també en anglès!

Com treballen l’educació emocional els nens i les nenes d’infantil en les sessions d’anglès?

Un cop a la setmana, just després d’escoltar la cançó de “Good Morning”, treballem les emocions en anglès conversant a la rotllana. Aprofitant que al primer trimestre vam aprendre el vocabulari (happy, sad, angry, scared, sleepy…), expliquem als nostres companys i companyes com ens sentim!

Preguntem a tothom: How are you today? Are you happy? Are you sad? I amb l’ajuda de les imatges parlem de com estem i de què ens ha passat.

A totes i a tots els encanta explicar coses que els han passat i els han fet sentir contents, tristos, espantats… i és una molt bona idea per no oblidar el vocabulari que han après!
