Hello everyone!
Last week we went to the English Day! We played eight different activities with children from other schools in Sant Adrià de Besòs. Here you have an explanation of the activities we did:
- I like you: a funny dance with very easy lyrics practiced a few days before.
- Pass the word: it’s like the TV contest you can watch on TV, you had to guess a definition.
- Shove Ha’Penny: a traditional English game usually played with a coin.
- What are you doing?: you had to guess the mime of your mates.
- Boxes game: the goal was making words mixing the different sides of some cubes which had some letters on it.
- Food bingo: we had a card, the monitor said a word and if we had it, we ticked it.
- Body word search: it was a crossword about parts of the body.
- Get dressed: It was played in groups of four. The first person read a card with a clothes word written there. The second and third person found it in a pile of clothes. The fourth person had to dress up on that clothes.
After the games we saw a play called “Sleeping Beauty or not”. It was about a princess and a prince who didn’t want the typical kiss story ending.
We had fun and we really enjoyed all the activities!
