On Wednesday 29.10 Water Sanitation expert Paul Jawor from MSF (Medecins Sans Frontieres – Doctors Without Borders) came to visit us for the fourth time. During his lecture in class he first explained the actions of Medecins Sans Frontières in difficult areas around the world such as Palestine and Nigeria at the moment, and explained how the organization stays neutral in areas of conflict and also offers assistance after natural disasters.
In the second part of his presentation the students of 4 ESO participated in a workshop where they experienced how to sanitize water, a process that is necessary to survive in areas with no purified water.
Thanks Paul for sharing with us your hard but necessary mission as a water sanitation expert.
