During this academic year, the Institut Escola Mossèn Cinto has joined the Pedagogical Innovation Program: GEP (Plurilingual Generation), which has a duration of three years and has a promoter team made up of a member of the management team and three teachers of primary and secondary education. The general objectives of the program are to promote the application in the classroom of CLIL methodologies (integrated learning of contents and English language); to encourage the development of interdisciplinary English language projects and to provide guidelines for educational organization and curriculum design. Through the GEP, teachers can also strengthen cooperative work, encourage educational innovation and promote the exchange of practical skills with other participating schools.
Three members of the promoter team are participating in an annual training, to design an educational proposal that will be implemented in some secondary and primary courses along the school year. For this project, the priority is to design and apply new didactic proposals related to experimentation and manipulation but also to promote students’ autonomy and engagement by involving students of different ages, introducing them to different communication situations and making students the main performers of the tasks. Teamwork also encourages learners to achieve shared learning objectives and to strengthen bonds between secondary and primary students.
Durant aquest curs l’Institut Escola Mossèn Cinto s’ha adherit al Programa d’Innovació Pedagògica: GEP (Generació Plurilingüe) que té una durada de tres anys i compta amb un equip impulsor format per un membre de l’equip directiu i tres docents de primària i secundària.
De moment, els tres membres del professorat han participat en una formació anual per a dissenyar una proposta educativa que després es posarà en pràctica a l’ESO i primària conjuntament. Es prioritzaran propostes que s’articulin entorn de l’experimentació, la manipulació i la plàstica. Implicant alumnes de diferents cursos potenciem l’autonomia, introduint alumnes en situacions de comunicació diferents perquè s’impliquin activament en el desenvolupament de la tasca. A més, es potencia el treball en grup per aconseguir aprenentatges compartits i reforçar vincles entre els alumnes de secundària i primària.
