This week we travel to Unitated States of America. They are celebrating Halloween.
Halloween is on October 31st. Halloween is a big celebration for children in the USA and Canada. On Halloween, children dress up in costumes. They are monsters, famous people, ghosts, witches and pirates.
In the evening, children walk from house to house shouting “trick or treat” and people give them sweets. People decorate their houses with pictures of black cats, witches, bats or ghosts.
The most famous symbol of Halloween is the Jack O’ Lantern. Jack O’ Lantern is a pumpkin with a candle inside. Halloween is fantastic!

23/10/17A les classes d’educació física hem començat a treballar l’expressió corporal. Com a primera sessió i, per perdre una mica la vergonya, hem improvisat una desfilada de models amb diferents teles, disfresses i altres materials que hem trobat. Els nens i nenes s’ho han passat super bé i han demostrat tenir molt poca vergonya i molta imaginació.

APRENENTATGE DE LA LECTURA I L’ESCRIPTURA
“Només podrem desenvolupar de manera significativa els processos que intervenen tant en el llegir com en l’escriure si posem als nens i les nenes en situacions d’ús real de la lectura i l’escriptura.”
(Fons,1999:24).
Autors com Montessori (1987), Fons (1999),Boixaderas (2007),Teberosky (1979), han definit l’aprenentatge de la lectura i l’escriptura com un procés complex i individual, en que cada infant segueix el seu ritme, el qual no condiciona el seu futur com a lector i escriptor. Tots ells coincideixen en situar una franja d’edat àmplia i adequada per aprendre a llegir i escriure que és aproximadament entre els quatre i els set anys.

Els contes són encara ara, la primera matèria per als primers col·loquis entre mare i fill. Hello boys and girls!
My name is Elisabeth, but my friends call me Beth.
I am going to travel with you. Remember to pick up your passport to travel.
Our first stop is the United Kingdom.
This country is composed of four territories: England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. For this reason its flag is a mixture of four flags, as you can see in the picture.
It is called the Union Jack.
In the United Kingdom people don’t use euros. They buy with pounds. In these coins, there is the picture of the queen.
The capital city of the United Kingdom is London. In London you can visit a lot of things. There are museums, for example: The British Museum, The Science Museum, The Wax Museum… You can also visit The London Eye, The Buckingham Palace and the Big Ben. This last building has got a huge clock on its top.

La benvinguda als nens i nenes de 5è al Cicle Superior
15/09/17Avui, 15 de setembre, els nens i nenes de 6è hem fet la benvinguda als alumnes de 5è, ja que han passat al Cicle Superior.
Els hi hem preparat un esmorzar i els hem rebut amb un passadís que hem fet tots els nens/es de 6è.
Ens ha agradat molt donar-los la benvinguda, ja que com som els més grans de l’escola, volem donar exemple als nostres companys.
Esperem que els hi hagi agradat.
