Conèixer Sant Cugat

Els dies 4 i 8 de juny es van fer les sortides del crèdit de síntesi de 2n d’ESO relacionades amb el coneixement de l’entorn històric i socioeconòmic  de Sant Cugat. En la primera es va fer una visita guiada al claustre del Monestir i en la segona es van visitar diferents edificis emblemàtics que formen part de la història de Sant Cugat com el Celler Cooperatiu i el Mercat Vell entre altres. L’alumnat va gaudir molt de les sortides alhora que va poder completar els seus coneixements.

Scientific, medicine and technology unit in the High Performance Center.

This last week a group of first batxillerat students had the pleasure of having a talk by Xavier Balius, responsible for the scientific, medicine and technology unit in the High Performance Center in Sant Cugat. He gave the students an overview about the different services the Center offers them and more specifically about the unit he is responsible for. The students had the chance to ask him any questions they had about the center and Xavier would also ask them questions to see what they knew beforehand.

“Taller de Romans”

El dia 1 de juny l’alumnat de 1r d’ESO va participar en un taller d’història antiga que va ser impartit per l’arqueòloga Marta Pujol. El el taller es va fer un recorregut històric per les diferents civilitzacions antigues al voltant del mar Mediterrani i es van fer diferents pràctiques: una sobre preparar una dieta romana, una altra sobre la construcció d’un temple romà i la construcció d’una ciutat romana. L’alumnat en va gaudir moltíssim i esperen poder repetir l’experiència amb un taller similar de cara al curs vinent.

 

ERASMUS + INTERNSHIP ABROAD – NETHERLANDS AND POLAND

During the next days 4 students of the Vocational Training branch (Cicle Superior) at Institut del CAR  will be starting their Erasmus + adventure. They are going to undertake a 2-month internship in the Netherlands -three of them- and Poland.  Following the safety COVID measures, and with the guidance of a tutor in the host country, they will carry out part of their trainee programme in Physical Education. This scholarship started only last year and will hopefully continue for many years to come.

Erasmus + is an educational programme funded by the European Union. It promotes learning mobility of individuals and groups, as well as cooperation and cultural exchange. Our school shares the spirit of these students who like to open up to the world. We wish you all the best!
