DEATH CAFE: ARE YOU A PERSON WHO WILL DIE ONE DAY?

Halloween is around the corner, so that’s why the groups of English 2 and English 3 decided to celebrate a Death Cafe.

To warm up, we watched a video related to the topic. Afterwards, a lot of questions came to our minds: Are you afraid to die? What do you want for your funeral? Is it a painful experience? What are the differences about funerals in different cultures? Have you been near to death? Do you believe in reincarnation? Why is death still a taboo? Do you live to die? Do you die to live?

My celebration: communicative learning situation

Using information about different celebrations, the students had to create a poster to explain them. We are very proud of our final productions. Would you like to see the results? All of them are on display in the school’s corridor.

Els grups d’Anglès 1 comencem fent el nostre “world cloud” amb aquelles paraules angleses que les sabem perquè les hem vist en una samarreta, anuncis a la televisió, vídeos d’Internet, pel·lícules, cartells, etc. Per tant, hi ha un bagatge propi que anirem ampliant i donant forma durant aquest curs que acabem de començar.

AVALUACIONS FINALS A L’ESCOLA

Ja arriben les avaluacions finals! Els i les alumnes del CFA Artur Martorell es posen a prova!

Durant aquest darrer tram del curs, l’alumnat de l’escola realitzarà els exàmens finals que complementaran les diferents tasques avaluatives que han anat desenvolupant al llarg del curs!

Concretament a Anglès 2 ja els han començat i aquí podeu veure la classe abans de rebre l’alumnat disposat a fer les proves del dia! Aquestes engloben els diferents àmbits que hem estat treballant (comprensió oral i escrita, expressió oral i escrita) des d’una mirada competencial durant tot els curs.

FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS IN ENGLISH 1

On Wednesday 26^th of April, we did a talk related with feelings and emotions in English 1.

First of all, we talked about different feelings and emotions just to know the meaning of them. Then, we listened an English song “The nights” by Avicci. We talked about the meaning of the song and then, how we felt listening it. After that, we drew our feelings and emotions with watercolours in a canva.

It was a nice experience 🙂

Mulan and 8M

THE GENDERBREAD PERSON

During the 8M week, we talked about gender diversity. The students commented different opinions about it. We learnt about this topic and got some information related to think about.
