In the subject of Biology and Geology of 3rd ESO we are learning everything about our own body, what it is made of, how it works and the habits we need to follow to keep it healthy. This year, some activities are prepared and carried out in English, as part of the GEP project in our school. Here there are two of them:
The Healthy Eating Plate
As part of the Biology Nutrition topic, 3rd year ESO students have carried out a GEP activity in English. For 4 sessions, they determined their eating habits, assessed the nutritional contents of the different food groups and finally made a proposal for a healthy eating plate reading and following the recommendations of Harvard University which you can check out here: https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/
Quit smoking!
After working on the topic of drugs, 3rd year ESO students have prepared a shocking poster to raise awareness about the harmful effects of smoking in English, dealing with specific vocabulary and trying to get attention from adults around them.

In the subject of Culture and ethical values of 2nd ESO this year we have done “The Running Dictation” on the Monday Carnival so some of our students have came to the high school disguised in their pyjamas.
The running Dictation, apart from being a different way to work, is an activity that allows students to practice the skills of reading, talking, writing and speaking.
