Aquest ja és el tercer any de la implementació del projecte GEP al nostre institut.
La primera activitat d’aquest curs “If I were……I would be…..”, ens ha permès, a banda de treballar el segon condicional en anglès, portar a terme una activitat de dinàmica de grup.
També hem fet dues activitats més relacionades amb la cohesió de classe que han estat “Find someone with the same answer” i “Challenges”.

Dins del projecte GEP, hem decidit retolar l’institut en anglès i els alumnes de tercer han estat els encarregats de portar a terme la traducció.
Pels tallers de Nadal vam preparar un karaoke en anglès que va tenir molt bona acollida.
El nou any l’hem començat amb l’activitat “Spider web”. Els alumnes han expressat en anglès els seus propòsits per l’any nou i després de fer-ho, per torns, llencen un cabdell de llana a un altre company/a, formant-se al final una teranyina de llana.
Students are practising their oral skills by doing an activity in which they have to think and share their New Year’s Resolutions.
També hem treballat la millora de la memòria amb un power point amb activitats, trucs i consells que hem traduït a l’anglès.
Una altra activitat que hem dut a terme és What’s in the box? Teacher brings a box with something inside. Students have to guess what is inside the box by asking yes/no questions.
El mes de març hem treballat el dia de la dona treballadora. hem fet un listening comprehension sobre una xerrada que va fer l’actriu Emma Watson sobre la desigualtat de gènere.
Students have been listening to a speech on feminism in English and after that, all of them took part on a debate.
Per tal de conscienciar els alumnes de la necessitat de mantenir l’espai de l’institut net i endreçat, hem pensat en la realització, per grups, de pòsters que penjarem a diferents llocs del centre i que amb el lema: “Keep the school clean”.
Hem dut a terme la 2a edició de l’English Morning, que aquest curs hem fet a l’escola Joan Maragall, amb la participació dels alumnes de 3r d’ESO i de 5è de primària del Joan Maragall i de l’escola Sinera.
Hem fet un Drawing Dictation. Els alumnes han d’escoltar i dibuixar el que el professor els dicta.Abans de fer l’activitat és aconsellable repassar vocabulari que puguin necessitar: in the middle f the piece of paper, right, left, on the top left, on the top right, above, behind, etc.
A 2n d’ESO hem començat a fer la matèria de Cultura i valors ètics en anglès.
- Després d’una petita introducció al món de la Filosofia i l’Ètica, hem treballat la figura de Sòcrates. Els alumnes han preparat, per grups, una exposició oral on cada grup s’ha centrat en una sentència de Sòcrates i ha presentat al grup classe les seves conclusions.
- The Running Dictation is an activity that practises speaking, listening, writing, and remembering!
You have to Choose a short passage and make several copies and put the copies up around the walls of the classroom or outside ( corridor or nearby). The students work in small groups. The aim is for one of the students in each group to walk (or run!) to read the passage on the wall. They remember some of the passage and walk (or run!) back to their group. They quietly dictate what they remembered to their group and they have to write it down. They then swap roles. Over several turns they will build the whole passage.
The winning team is the one that finishes first without mistakes.
A 1r d’ESO a Culture and Ethical Values, hem vist la pel·lícula Inside Out i hem treballat les emocions: alegria, tristesa, por, ràbia i fàstic.També hem fet un repàs als nostres records i, després de triar-ne un, l’hem dibuixat i hem explicat el per què l’hem triat.
Com ja vam fer l’any passat, hem fet un acròstic amb les lletres dels nostres noms amb adjectius que ens descriguin i hem escrit sobre el passat, sobre el present i ens hem imaginat con serà el nostre futur.
