THE PLASTIC MERMAID

Today we, the “comunitats de grans i mitjans”, have been at the theatre. The play was an adapted version of the classic “The Little Mermaid”, called “The Plastic Mermaid”.
We have enjoyed the play, in particular, we loved the songs!

My carrot nose

The confinement time is over!!

This week we have been reviewing the parts of the body and the numbers that we had worked on the first term. We also have been listening to a story called “My nose” that was the homework to do for the confinement time. It’s a very nice book about a snowman that has many noses but the perfect one is the carrot nose!

The Pinocchios also enjoyed playing a game called Who has stolen the carrot?
One Pinocchio puts a carrot on someone’s back and the others sing a song to discober who has it. They loved it!!

PREPARING THE THEATRE IN ENGLISH

Next week we are going to go to Can Papasseit. In this occasion, we will see an adapted version of the classic: The Little Mermaid.
Today we’ve been talking about facts related to the play as well as environmental issues.

GOOD MORNING PURPLE FAIRY!

This first week of the year the Pinocchios have awaken their English with their usual routines. The Purple Fairy has been very happy to see all the Pinocchios again!!

We also have reviewed the volcano song, so as next week we are going to hang our lava wall!!

We are expecting it and we are very nervous!!

The Tabalugues have also started English with the usual routines and we have woken up our class puppet Froggy!!!

We have talked about the Christmas presents and finally we have reviewed the numbers and the colours.

NATIONAL PARKS, PREPARING AN ORAL EXPOSITION

Within this week, we’ve been preparing the oral expositions about the National Parks.
It’s taking quite a lot of time because we found very interesting information about them!

HOT AIR BALLOONS

During these two weeks the Tabalugues have been learning a song about toys.

We’ve been playing a short role-play in which there’s the Mummy or Daddy and the child that asks for a Christmas present.

A TASTY WORKSHOP!

After a session of theory about how to make pancakes, we have done some practice! We worked in groups mixing the ingredients. When the dough was ready we cooked the pancakes and added a delicious topping! They were supper yummy!
