For some weeks now all the Tabalgues have prepared two tales to tell to the Patufets and the Pinotxos.
The first story is the well-known book Brown bear. It’s a tale about animals and colours. It follows a repetitive structure which is perfect for the kids to remember.
The second one is The Boo Hoo bird. This tale is about friendship and forgiveness. It’s a great story to work on values with children.
Last Wednesday all the Patufets, Pinotxos and Tabalugues gathered at the Music classroom and enjoyed the Tabalugues tales’performance.
After the theatre we had some fun dancing together!!!
Last Wednesday the Tintins, the Petits Prínceps and the Massgrans classes visited the Little ones Community.
They explained a funny and different book about coloured dots. During the story the Big Community kids gave some prompts to the children and they had to follow the instructions.
We spent a great time all togheter!!
Since last week the Tabalugues class have been learning the days of the week song and a question has come out:
Why has the week 7 days?
After doing some research we have discovered that the ancient astronomers thought that on Early days some planets had power on the Earth.
So,
MONDAY was the day of the Moon🌚 – Dilluns
TUESDAY was the day of Mars – Dimarts
WEDNESDAY was the day of Mercury – Dimecres
THURSDAY was the day of Jupiter – Dijous
FRIDAY was the day of Venus – Divendres
SATURDAY was the day of Saturn – Dissabte
SUNDAY was the day of the Sun 🌞 – Diumenge
Soooo interesting!!!
During the week the Tabalugues have been preparing two stories to tell to the Patufets and the Pinotxos after Easter.
First, every Tabaluga has chosen his own role. Then, we have made two groups and, as there are two teachers in class, each group has been rehearsing the script/ dialogue.
They have enjoyed it a lot!!
Within this week the Tabalugues have been working on the very famous story Brown bear, brown bear.
It is a poetic book that encourages kids to learn the name of the animals and the colours. Appart from the vocabulary this story also motivates the children to memorise it through repetition and even fosters their speaking competence.

Every Wednesday the Tabalugues class has STORYTIME📚
The story of this week is Winnie and the Midnight Dragon. It is a funny story about a baby dragon that appears in Winnie’s house, a deary witch that all kids love.
All the Tabalugues have enjoyed this amusing story and loved these well-known characters.
