In Tanits today we have been following the path towards the Stop Motion film about our projet. Some of us are still working on the writen text or organizing scenes. Some of us are designing our characters and prompts with playdough and lego briks. A couple of groups have been taking photos and one of them started recording the oral text. There is still some work to do but it seems we are on the way to finish them.
We have been continuing the producton of our stop motions. Some groups are working on the story and planning the scenes. Some groups are working on the characters and attrezzo elements in order to start taking photos. Some grops started taking photos. We are keeping them in the drive. Once we have the sequence we are going to record the voices.
Its a long process, however we are one the last stages of it.
After finishing the translation of the text, we have been preparing a document with all scenes divided. The objective was to divide every action. Later, we drawn each scene thinking on the materials we would be using.
Some groups today started to model playdough and building with Lego what they need in order to start taking photos.
After writing a text from scratch and traslating it into English, today we have been creating the Story book. It is basically split the story in scenes. Later we have to draw what is happening in that particular scene. Apart from this we have to consider the material we are going to use in our stop motion.
Today we have went to Can Papasseit to a theatre play in English. The classic Beauty and the Beast adapted in a version set nowadays in London and Hollywood.
All groups in Primary education from Rovellons to Massagrans enjoyed the show. Some of them loved the songs, some of them the jokes and some others, the whole show.
When it was almost at the end, four students had the opportunity to get on stage. It was an exciting moment.
We have been creating stories related to each side of our project. Now we are translating them. In the process we have realized that it is not possible to translate word by word because some expressions have a meaning all together but they have a completely different one if your translate them word by word. In the meantime we have also discovered some errors in the original writing in Catalan or Spanish.
In Tanits we are going to explain part of the project using Stop Motion. Today we have started talking about what Stop Motion is and how could we use it in order to tell stories.
Later, we have experimented with the Chromebooks and different materials such as Lego or Playdough.
This week we have talked around a climathologic topic: Hurricanes. We have watched some videos about different Hurricanes, one in Puerto Rico and one in Florida.
We also talked about how they are originated and how do they act. Finally we made an experiment to simulate an hurricane. We could differenciate the center with the borders and their different speed.
