Today we’ve celebrated Saint Valentine’s Day in our school. It’s a holiday honoring love and friendship. So in previous days we wrote letters to our school friends and we posted them in our special post boxes. Today postmen and postwomen from different grades delivered them to us. We received our valentines: letters, cards and lollipops! It has been great, we are so happy!

These days we’ve been preparing a special activity for Saint Valentine’s Day. We’ve been writing letters to our school friends. Every pupil wrote a letter to another pupil from the same level, so everyone can get one valentine’s card. Then we’ve sent the valentines through our treasured post box. We are eager waiting for the delivery time!

A l’hora de música estem estudiant la partitura de l’Himne de l’Alegria que forma part de la famosa 9a Simfonia de Ludwig van Beethoven. Per ser el primer dia ens hem sortit prou bé!
Avui al matí, els delegats i delegades d’escoles verdes ens hem reunit per explicar quins projectes relacionats amb el reciclatge i el Porta a Porta hem treballat o treballarem a les nostres classes.
També hem decidit alguns altres temes que ens agradarien treballar al llarg d’aquest curs.

Els dies 11 i 18 de gener del 2019 els alumnes de cicle mitjà van començar el programa Esport Blanc Escolar. Aquestes primeres sessions eren de la disciplina d’esquí de fons a les estacions d’esquí nòrdic d’Aransa, on van anar els alumnes de 4t i a l’estació de Lles, on es van desplaçar els alumnes de 3r. Tot i la manca de neu natural, els nens i nenes de cicle mitjà van poder experimentar i aprendre les tècniques bàsiques de l’esquí de fons gràcies a un canó de neu artificial.
Esperem que per la darrera sessió hi hagi més pistes de neu per aprendre’n més!

Amb l’orquestra dels Superfilharmònics estem aprenent a tocar la cançó africana “Banuwa”
The music box game helps us reviewing English vocabulary while we have a great time!
When music starts playing, one pupil passes the box to the pupil next to him or her and so on. When the teacher stops the music, the pupil who has the box opens it and… there you go! he or she takes one card from inside and follow the instructions. We all want the music box in our hands!

We enjoy learning lots of things in our Reading time. Our teacher carries a suitcase full of funny and interesting stories. We read poems, pirates stories, witches stories and many other books. We love them!
