Our primary 5 & 6 students have participated in an unusual but exciting activity. One musician from Scotland has visited our school and shown us some typical Scottish dances and songs. We had a great time and it was like being in a real ‘Ceilidh’. We also learned how to name the different parts of a Scottish traditional costume, now we know that what men wear are not skirts but kilts!! Ah… and all the 1.5h activity was in English…but is this relevant anymore?
