This course, the children of 3rd and 4th level are going to live a new experience by doing an English immersion. We are going to camping Trillas, in Tamarit (Tarragona). All the school team decided to try a different way to live the camps. Thus, both children and adults will have to use English, for 3 days, for a real communicative context since all the activities and the camping team is going to use just this language to communicate. It’s going to be a great deal for the children but we think that it is a great opportunity for them and, in fact, there is no better way to learn a language than using it in a meaningful and useful context.
For this reason, the children of both grades have been preparing a meeting for the families as a project to explain some aspects about the camps: dates, arrival and departure place and time, activities, menu, luggage,.. We wanted that children got involved in all the organisation from the beginning and we have to say that we are so proud about their work.
