During the school year 2022-2023, The English teacher of our high school Marta Mercadé took part in an exchange project with the Province of Alberta in Canada as part of the Erasmus Programme. The exchange consisted in showing our high school and teaching methodologies to Canadian faculty staff, through the host to the visiting teacher Ian Wilson who stayed at our high school in March. Then Marta Mercadé attended Lacombe Schools in the Province of Alberta to get familiar with the Canadian education system. Both teachers, Ian and Marta, agreed on the enrichment of their teaching careers and personal background as a result of the exchange project, and have now been recognised for their best practice in the implementation of their daily lessons when back in their schools by the Public Instruction Department in Alberta and Catalonia. Congratulations Marta and Ian, and thank you for sharing with our students such interesting things about your hometown countries.
