Last Wednesday, we went to Sabadell to see a theatre play called The legend of Sleepy Hollow. It was a version of the original tale written by Washington Irving, one of the first detective novels in history, and entirely in English.
Before that, we had been working in class on the plot, the main characters, where and when the story took place, etc. In that way we could understand the theatre play, follow the dialogues and know how this version ends.
On thursday, the day after, we watched Sleepy Hollow film in original version but subtitled. This Tim Burton’s version of the original book is more fantastic, with more characters and with a different end. Don’t you know it? Watch the film and you will see!
