Nature

This week the Massagrans have read a beautiful poem about nature.

It is about a poet imagining his own rich landscape. It talks about mountains, valleys, hillsides, ponds, water lillies, heather, bracken, daisy chains, meadows, lilac bells… We have learned a lot of new nature vocabulary!

This is the poem:

We enjoyed and learned a lot. Massagrans love poetry!!

Character traits

Working on Character traits!

Last week we watched a short animation film and talked about the main character personality traits.
Then we worked on the vocabulary and performed the story in class.

This week, every Little Prince is working on his own character traits. We will see the results in a while…

After have been working on a character personality for several weeks, each Little Prince has created his own work.
Here below you have the results!

Playing in English

Last week Xavi won the bingo and his prize was to think a game for all the class to play.
This game is: Simon says. In this game you have to listen and follow the instructions.

For exapmle: Simon says touch the ground, Simon says jump, Simon Says turn around…

We enjoyed and had fun playing all together!!

The Little Prince – book languages MAP!

Do you know how many langages the Little Prince has been translated into?

No less than 250 languages!!

This week we have worked on the map of the world and every little Prince has written a Little Prince translation in a foreign language. Some examles:

The Little Prince (English)
De klaane Prins (Flemish)
O Principiño (Portuguese)
Der Kleine Prinz (German)
Il Piccolo Principe (Italian)

Finally we have matched each language with its country. It’s been a great experience!!

Tintins warm-up activites and dynamic routines

Every week the Tintins start their English lesson with a dynamic routine. It consists in asking our classmates their favourite things.

Last Monday we also started with a warm-up activity in which the Tintins reviewed the numbers. everybody enjoyed the game!!

Little Princes warm-up activites

Last Monday we started our lesson with a numbers game called 7 forbbiden!

It was a kind of a difficult activity in Maths-English in which the Little Princes couldn’t say number seven or its multiples. Even so, all the Little Princes enjoyed the warmer and got ready to start !!

We finished our lesson with an actions guessing game. It was really fun and everybody took part in it.

The Bright Side Song

During the confinament time a new music group appeared in Barcelona, it is called STAY HOMAS.
They have many songs but one of the most popular is The Bright Side. This song is about being positive, about believing in oneself, despite of the adversities that life brings to us.
Meritxell, the Music teacher, gave us the idea to work on this song as it is in Enhglish.

Here you have the Little Prince class working on the song lyrics.
