TABALUGUES DO THEATRE IN ENGLISH

For some weeks now all the Tabalgues have prepared two tales to tell to the Patufets and the Pinotxos.

The first story is the well-known book Brown bear. It’s a tale about animals and colours. It follows a repetitive structure which is perfect for the kids to remember.

The second one is The Boo Hoo bird. This tale is about friendship and forgiveness. It’s a great story to work on values with children.

Last Wednesday all the Patufets, Pinotxos and Tabalugues gathered at the Music classroom and enjoyed the Tabalugues tales’performance.

After the theatre we had some fun dancing together!!!

An activity on co-education

Since we were born we are sorrounded with several toys of different shapes and colours.
But which toys are for boys or for girls?

We started the activity talking about two colours: blue and pink.
The teacher asked them which colour they prefer. Boys mostly said blue and girls answered pink.
So after talking about these two colours we put pink and blue in the middle.

Then Pinocchios were given 6 different toys: a rocket, a ball, a train, a robot, a bike, a teddy bear and a yo-yo.So they were asked to classify them according their opinion on wheter it was a toy for girls or a toy for boys.

At the beggining all the toys were ment to be for boys!

So I asked them:

Have you got a bike, or a yo-yo, or a teddy bear, or a ball?
They all said YES.

Then the second round was more balanced. These were the results:
Girls’toys: the bike, the yo-yo, the teddy bear and the ball.
Boys’toys: the train, the rocket and the robot.

It’s been an interesting activity and it has given us a lot to think about it!

SPRINGTIME

Since Spring 🌻🌺🌸🌼 arrived we have been talking about the animals that appear in Springtime, such as; ladybirds, butterflies, caterpillars, bees… and we have read some beautiful stories:

The very hungry caterpillar and Where is the butterfly?

At the moment the Pinocchios are learning a short poem about SPRING. Next week we will record and upload it. Don’t miss it!

After several days talking about Spring and practicing the Springpoem here below you have the results!

Hope you like it!

CLASSIFYING STONES

Within the Ajudem als nens i nenes de los Campitos Project we have several products ready to sell, but there is still something to be finished: the photo frames!

Some time ago the Pinocchios brought lots of stones of different sizes.

All along this week the kids have been classifying the stones depending on their  sizes, whether if they are big, medium or small. Now they are ready to paint!!!

Storytime rehearsal

During the week the Tabalugues have been preparing two stories to tell to the Patufets and the Pinotxos after Easter.

First, every Tabaluga has chosen his own role. Then, we have made two groups and, as there are two teachers in class, each group has been rehearsing the script/ dialogue.

They have enjoyed it a lot!!

WHAT A NICE BADGES!

The Pinotxos have all the badges ready to sell for the Project “Ajudem als nens i nenes de los campitos”.
There are different badges: some have a Mandala, some have a heart on it and some have different faces.
After making the badges each Pinotxo has chosen his favourite one and has described it with their own words!

What a nice badges!!
