Our Organization
The INS Joan d’Àustria is a public high school that offers different studies levels, to help to grow up the students according with the Official Diploma indications.
As a part of the Catalonia public education system, our institution is linked with different programms to improve the studies quality in all the levels, organize workshops inside the center for the students and the people interested in IT subjects, and in addition, INS Joan d’Àustria is now opening the doors to students and staff, to perform part of their education in other countries as you can read in the Erasmus+ Policy Statement.

Our installations
Our building is a classic public center with a long story in the educational system forming a lot of professionals, including part of our staff. But the time is not affecting our center, because every year it is updated with some new features, to adapt it to the current times as for example our new and awarded library, our fast broadband internet connection…, takeing care about the people inclusion with an internal lift, clear indications… and an amazing human team that always try to find the best solution to the different problems presented.

Our Location
The INS Joan d’Àustria center is located in Barcelona city, on the Sant Martí district (check the contact page). It is very close to different IT companies to perform the intership and traineership studies, very well connected with the Metro train L2 (Bac de Roda / Sant Martí stations), with two differents bus-stops with the H10, H12, 33, 60, 40 and 42 lines, and a Bicing bike-stop near in the Guipuscoa street.These factors, provides the center with the best balance to study and work, and enjoy the big city easily.
Our Staff
As a school with general education, we have a lot of professionals in different educational areas that share their passion, motivation and knowledge, innovating every day to adapt the contents to the current students reality.
In addition, our VET and Higher VET Computer Science studies are orchestrated by an amazing IT team, specialized in different IT areas as development, security, networks, data bases, cloud… that gives to the students a very witdth vision about the huge computers world.
