Students of 4th course have just finished a new lesson called My music band where they have been a famous music band who receive a fantastic opportunity to sign with a very famous music label. They have had to prepare hard for this interview and work on the materials they need to impress them! They have received an email from Tom Kane, the talent hunter of BeatCool Records, one of the best music labels, interested to meet them.
We started watching a related film called Begin again, a chance encounter between a disgraced music-business executive and a young singer-songwriter, new to Manhattan, turns into a promising collaboration between the two talents. An awarded film with a great soundtrack!
In groups of 3 or 4, they have worked to create a music band to pass the final task, a real interview with the music label. On the way, they have had to talk about them and invent their biographies, their origins in the music world, chose their band name, work on some famous covers, record an informal video of the daily life of the band, define their music, etc.
To sum up, a hard job is done, and now they are just waiting for the interview with the music label.
