Second SCE students in INS Bitàcola have the chance to design and perform their theatre play. During these weeks 2nd grade participants are creating, writing and preparing a theatre play which is based on the book they have already read in class: “An Eskimo adventure” written by Katherine Daniels.
As a part of their duty, students have drawn, and painted the most representative landscapes of the book. They learned the vocabulary involved enabling them to establish the content and write the dialogue for the different scenes. This lesson contributes to extend their foreign language knowledge and have stronger creative thinking. It also challenges students to show their linguistic competency, display higher levels of confidence in loud speech, and develop a taste for art and culture.
