Résistance et exil

Définitivement, la mer, c’est ma partie préférée du voyage, c’est réellement impressionnant. Aujourd’hui, je suis allée à Portivy pour voir la mer. On est resté là-bas pour le déjeuner. Il s’agissait des côtes de cochon avec une sauce absolument délicieuse. Après, on est parti à la côte sauvage et, c’est dans ce moment que je m’ai rendu compte que la mer était ma partie préférée. En voiture, on a passé par Quiberon pour voir la côte et le port. En fin, on est sorti avec des amies à Carnac et on a fini par voir le coucher de soleil à Étel.

Mardi 21

Mardi, nous avons visité Nantes. Le matin, des élèves français étaient nos guides. Et pour l’après-midi, nous  avons visité la galerie des Machines de l’Île, un espace d’exposition et d’animation avec des animaux mécaniques et pour finir, nous sommes allés au Carrousel des mondes marins. Une anecdote: il y avait des grèves et nous avons passé trois heures dans le bus. Aussi ce jour, j’ai goûté à des galettes et c’était très bon.

JOUR 9: Quand je me suis réveillée, j’étais très fatiguée. J’ai préparé toutes mes affaires et, ayant mangé un peu, nous sommes allés au lycée, où on devait prendre le bus. Là, nous nous sommes dit “adieu” et on est parti. Dans le bus, les gens ont mis de la musique tandis que le chauffeur était en train de nous emmener à l’aéroport de Nantes. Là, on a joué aux cartes et parlé entre nous jusqu’au moment où nous sommes entrés à l’avion, où il y a eu beaucoup de turbulences. Quand on a fini ce voyage, nous sommes allés chercher nos valises pour prendre l’autre bus. Là, on a mis de la musique une autre fois et on a chanté.Après cette longue semaine, même si je suis un peu fatiguée, je crois qu’elle a été une nouvelle expérience pleine de souvenirs incroyables. En plus, j’ai pu connecter pas seulement avec des nouvelles personnes en France, mais aussi avec les Catalans. J’étais un peu nerveuse au début, mais ce voyage a été tellement mémorable et une grande opportunité pour apprendre.

Exiles: now and then

Between the 24th and the 31st of March we welcomed our Polish partners in the Erasmus+ project “Exiles: now and then”. During the week, we met amazing people while we were doing different activities, such as a tour in our high school or a tour to discover the ‘Espais de Memòria’ in our city. We also rode our bikes through la Fageda, spent time with our families, and we hung out several times in the afternoon.

If we had to describe how we felt, it was like a feeling of happiness and comfort. The truth is that we are very happy to get along so well with them. We are sure that this will be an experience that we will not forget, since we have shared all our things with the Polish people and vice versa, which means that we have currently created a very good relationship.

Also, we are extremely excited to go to Poland, not just to visit the country and the city, but also to know even more people, and learn about their customs and traditions, such as food, daily routine, their high school and the types of lessons they have. And, the most important thing, spend time with our host family and enjoy our stay. We leave on Friday!

Mobility to Poland

Best experience ever. Our trip to Poland!

From the 21st to the 28th of April, we went to Poland to complete the exchange project of Erasmus+ “Exiles: now and then”. There, we met again with our lovely Polish partners. Our stay at their homes was so nice as the families welcomed us very warmly and made us feel like home, especially during the weekend when we had to spend time with them.

We learned a lot of things about Poland starting from their old and unique spots and cities such as Torun, Gdask, Sopot, Barbarka forest…. Furthermore, we learned a lot during our stay because we participated in some classes, which helped us know more about Poland and their education system, and also we took part in many activities, like making cookies at the museum of Gingerbread. Apart from that, we saw so many remarkable things such as the memorials of the Second War, the Mill of Knowledge or the Planetarium of Torun. 

It’s impossible to describe everything we felt during the week! Happiness, joy, and also a feeling of gratitude since we were given the opportunity to participate in the Erasmus. For sure, we’ll never forget the experience!

Sharing Landscape and History Heritage

During the first week of March, we carried out the first part of the mobility programme in Belgium. Specifically, we went to the town of Aarschot. Thirteen students of 4th ESO lived together with some students from the Damiaaninstituut high school.

Apart from sharing the difference between our educational systems and doing activities related to historical heritage, we visited cities like Mechelen, Heist-op-den-Berg, Jalhay or Brussels. We also did a workshop to create our own LED plate. Furthermore, we ice skated and reached a viewpoint above a church. We climbed more than 500 steps! We also experienced the reality of their daily lives. We had wind, snow, rain and we could even see the sun.

It was a week of full communication in English with a lot of unique, funny and unforgettable moments.
We hope that their stay here will be the same or better. We are looking forward to seeing them again soon!
