Avui hem començat el dia més aviat, ja que ens hem desplaçat amb bus a 30 km d’Oulu per veure l’escola Ylikiiminki en un paratge idíl·lic ple de neu. Hem fet raquetes de neu, que és una de les activitats que poden fer els alumnes, així com hoquei sobre gel. És molt típic que l’alumnat vagi amb esquís a l’escola o motos de neu.
A dins l’escola hem pogut veure el gimnàs, l’aula d’art i l’espai maker o taller on tenen molts aparells i eines per confeccionar el que volen fer. Després, hem anat a dinar al menjador escolar i hem tornat amb autocar a la ciutat d’Oulu.
Today we started the day earlier, as we traveled by bus 30km from Oulu to see the Ylikiiminki, an idyllic school place full of snow. We did snowshoeing which is one of the activities the students can do, as well as ice hockey. It is very typical for students to go to school on skis or snowmobiles.
Inside the school, we were able to see the gym, the art classroom and the maker space or workshop where they have many devices and tools to make what they want to do. Afterward, we went to lunch at the school canteen and returned by coach to the city of Oulu.
