Aquest dimarts 12 de març de 2024 hem conegut el procés per dur a terme un projecte STEAM amb el mestre de ciències Heikki Vimpari de l’escola Ylikliminki, a 40km d’Oulu. Per tal que un projecte sigui STEAM ha de seguir les següents parts, sempre tenint clar l’objectiu i seguint els passos:
Després, en petits grups (érem un equip molt internacional amb mestres d’USA, Thailand, Japan, Greece i Madrid) hem escollit un dels Objectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible (ODS) i hem pensat alguna problemàtica al voltant d’ell seguint el procés STEAM. A continuació, hem buscat possibles solucions que hem hagut de crear amb diferents materials i presentar el nostre prototip “ECOBOT” a la resta de companys.
A la tarda, hem visitat un dels FABLAB d’Oulu, on hem pogut conèixer com gestionen aquest espai públic pels habitants de la ciutat i quines màquines hi ha disponibles per poder tirar endavant els teus projectes. També hi ha sales de reunions o co-working que pots utilitzar lliurement. Per últim, hem pogut crear una peça fent servir la màquina que volíem. Ha estat un dia molt interessant i enriquidor.

This Tuesday, March 12, 2024, we learned about the process to carry out a STEAM project with the science teacher Heikki Vimpari from the Ylikliminki school, 40km from Oulu. In order for a project to be STEAM it must follow the essencials parts, always keeping the objective clear and following the steps.
Then, in small groups (we were a very international team with teachers from the USA, Thailand, Japan, Greece and Madrid) we chose one of the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS) and thought about some problems around it, following the STEAM process. Next, we looked for possible solutions that we had to create with different materials and present our “ECOBOT” prototype to the rest of our colleagues.
In the afternoon, we visited one of Oulu’s FABLABs, where we were able to learn how they manage this public space for the city’s habitants and which machines are available to help you move forward with your projects. There are also meeting or co-working rooms that you can use freely. Finally, we were able to create a part using the machine we wanted. It was a very interesting and enriching day.
