Avui hem iniciat el matí assistint a una sessió del projecte de lectura sueca i, a continuació, hem observat com es treballa a una classe de matemàtiques. Més tard, la Clara, una mestra xilena de llengua espanyola ens ha convidat a la seva classe d’espanyol per poder conversar amb els seus alumnes, fent-nos preguntes sobre la nostra cultura i el nostre país. Com a última sessió d’observació a l’aula, hem pogut veure la planificació d’una activitat experimental, on els infants han treballat la fricció i la velocitat creant el seu propi cotxe.
Després de dinar, l’escola ha preparat una videoconferència amb la fundació del programa Junior Achievement Sweden, un gran col·laborador de l’escola, els quals ens ha explicat la importància de l’emprenedoria, la societat, l’educació financera i l’orientació laboral dels joves, com també la manera d’introduir-ho a l’aula.
Per finalitzar el dia, els mestres ens han acompanyat a Store Mosse Natisekonalpark, un dels moltíssims parcs nacionals que hi ha a Suècia. Hem conegut la seva fauna i flora, com també hem visitat el museu ple d’informació sobre la zona. Després d’una passejada pels voltants del parc, hem compartit un tast de la seva cultura fent una petita barbacoa als peus del parc.
Today we started the morning by attending a session of the Swedish reading project, and then we watched how a maths class works. Later, Clara, a Chilean teacher of Spanish, invited us to her Spanish class to talk to her students, where the kids asked us questions about our culture and our country. During the last observation session in the classroom, we were able to see the planning of an experimental activity, where the children worked on friction and speed by creating their car.
After lunch, the school prepared a video conference with the foundation of the Junior Achievement Sweden program, a great collaborator of the school, who explained to us the importance of entrepreneurship, society, financial education, and the job orientation of young people, as well as the way to introduce it in the classroom.
To end the day, the teachers accompanied us to Store Mosse Natisekonalpark, one of the many national parks in Sweden. We got to know its fauna and flora, as we also visited the museum full of information about the area. After a walk around the park, we shared a taste of their culture by having a small barbecue at the foot of the park.
