Ahir diumenge vam aterrar a Palermo amb l’objectiu de fer observacions a escoles de Mazara del Vallo (Sicília). Avui de bon matí hem estat fent activitats a l’Istituto Comprensivo Borsellino Ajello. Hem realitzat una pràctica experimental amb alumnes de tercer al voltant d’un viatge al centre de la Terra. Per l’alumnat es tracta d’una activitat propera, doncs tenen el volcà Etna a la mateixa illa de Sicília.
Hem estat veient també com treballen la numeració a partir del joc i per últim hem assistit i participat d’una sessió d’educació física. Els hem ensenyat els nombres en català i per portar-ho a la pràctica hem jugat al mocador.
Yesterday, Sunday, we landed in Palermo with the objective of making observations at schools in Mazara del Vallo (Sicily). This morning we have been carrying out activities at the Istituto Comprensivo Borsellino Ajello. We conducted an experimental practice with third-grade students about a journey to the center of the Earth. For the students, it is a familiar activity since they have Mount Etna on the same island of Sicily.
We also observed how they work on numeracy through games, and finally, we attended and participated in a physical education session. We taught them numbers in Catalan, and to put it into practice, we played “mocador” (a traditional Catalan game).
