L’AMÀLIA ENS EXPLICA CONTES

Avui l’Amàlia ens ha explicat dos conte. “Un llibre” de Hervé Tullet és un llibre joc en el qual els infants hi poden interactuar. A la primera pàgina hi ha un punt groc i una instrucció: “Toca el punt!”. Quan passes pàgina, amb la màgia dels patufets el punt es duplica. I, seguint les instruccions, es triplica, canvia de color, es torna a multiplicar, es barregen els punts, s’apaguen els llums, els punts marxen del llibre, etc.

 

Desprès hem conegut el conte “QUE VE EL LLOP!” . A vegades no tot és el què sembla… A la caseta del cérvol arriba el conill ben esbojarrat perquè ha vingut corrents i de lluny ha vist el llop que s’acostava. El cérvol el deixa passar dins la casa i després també hi arriben el porquet i l’osset. Fins que arriba el llop… i quan obre la porta tots criden SORPRESA! L’hi han preparat una festa al Llop pel seu aniversari. A partir d’aquest conte hem pogut veure que el llop no ha de ser dolent sempre i també pot ser un amic.

Anem a Òdena Village

El passat dijous 13 de febrer els nens i nenes de la Comunitat de Grans vam anar d’excursió a Òdena Village per seguir treballant i aprenent sobre el nostre projecte de comunitat. Les diferents activitats que vam realitzar van ser una gimcana, on l’objectiu de la competició era reciclar diferents residus, la transformació i creació de nous objectes a partir dels diferents materials reciclats i  la creació d’un telenotícies en petits grups. Durant la jornada també vam tenir espais per poder reflexionar i parlar sobre la crisi climàtica que està afectant al nostre planeta i què podem fer els infants per combatre-la.

 

Handwritten letters back from High School

At the end of the last year, each student of Massagrans’ class sent a letter to a student of one of the classes of the first year of secondary school. Each of them sent it to a different student.
We have had their answers today. A nice and interesting first approach towards their future schoolmates, getting from them some news about the High School. Among other questions, they asked about the building and the playground, the school subjects, the teachers, other schoolmates…

Our trip to Valls d’Àneu (3rd-7th, February)

Tintins, Petits Prínceps and Massagrans have explained their week away. In a first activity, we all translated in to English the scheduled activities of their trip to Valls d’Àneu. We wrote every single thing they had done the previously week together. Following their descriptions, the next activity was to reorder the sentences, starting from the morning of the first day when they met before 8 am at school to get a bus to their destination, and finishing when back to school on Friday evening.

A meaningful activity in fact, as it is something they have already done themselves, and it is in their living memories, remaining vivid pictures in their minds, easy to understand when translating to English.

Children love acting and they would like to play all sort of different roles. If they were an actor/actress, they would like to be many characters. The ones Pinotxos and Tabalugues liked most are superheros and princesses, but of course, nowadays they like others like superzings… They have chosen in class the characters they would perform on stage if they were an actor/actress when the director says lights, camera, action!

Kindness matters

We have carried on discussing about kindness. We have sorted out kind and unkind acts in two opposite lists, and watched a video that illustrates kind behaviors.

Wave your hand like…

We have learnt how the characters of Alice in Wonderland act. They do some acts that we can imitate learning English through movement.

Besides, we have discussed about their dialogues extracted from the original book.

It has been a good day in Wonderland.

We have listened to this song to learn how bees behave. Also, we have been doing some maths in English.

Here is the beehive.

But where are all the bees?
Hiding away where nobody sees.

EL DIA QUE LES CERES DE COLORS VAN DIR PROU

Ha esclatat la revolució a la capsa de ceres d’en Duncan. La vermella es queixa de que la fan treballar massa; la blanca creu que li fan el buit; la negra pateix una crisi d’identitat; i les ceres groga i taronja han signat una pau armada, enfrontades per quin és el color del Sol. Així no hi ha manera! En Duncan vol pintar allò que li agrada però també vol que les seves ceres de colors estiguin contentes.

Avui hem explicat aquest conte “El dia que les ceres de colors van dir prou”. El dia que les ceres de colors van dir prou és una invitació a la creativitat, a mirar el món d’una manera diferent, més enllà de la gama de colors que ens brinda la natura.
