The first project that we are working on this semester revolves around Alya Chaglar.
Alya Chaglar is an artist from Turkey who recreates different costumes that famous people have worn during the red carpet. However, to do so, she only uses recycled material or things she can find at home.
Therefore we have decided to focus on her work and try to recreate different costumes, but instead of copying those worn by celebrities in events, we are going to recreate traditional costumes of countries from all around the world.
Thus, we have divided the class into groups and each of them has chosen a country: South Korea, Guatemala, Tuvalu and Spain.
We are very excited and we will keep you updated. At the moment, here you have some pictures to see what we have done until now.
