St George is on 23rd April.
An old legend says that a knight killed a furious dragon and saved the princess.
The legend says that from the blood of the dragon, grew a rose bush.
The knight took a rose and gave it to the princess.
Everybody can buy roses and books and give them to the people we love.
The pupils in our school we go to a central square in our town to visit stalls of libraries, bookshops, florists…
Lots of people also participate on literary awards.
Catalan people consider that day as the lovers day.
