Avui ens hem trobat a les 8 a l’escola Kärjen Koulu per començar a treballar plegats. Primer ens han ensenyat la seva impressionant escola mitjançant un joc de pistes. Després hem fet la nostra presentació de l’escola Joan Sanpera i Torras en una assemblea, a on hi eren tots els alumnes i mestres del centre. També ens han presentat els dos dissenyadors més importants del país, Marimekko i Alvar Aalto. A la tarda hem visitat dos dels monuments més importants de la ciutat dissenyats en gran part per Alvar Aalto. Abans de dinar hem treballat en el disseny de clauers basant-nos en els Moomins finlandesos i els estampats típics de la Marimekko. També hem fet un tastet del Cross-country skiing. Ha sigut un dia intens a on hem pogut gaudir de moltes noves experiències. Demà ens espera un altre dia intens!
Today we met at 8 o’clock at the Kärjen Koulu school to start working together. First, they showed us their impressive school through a game of clues. Then we made our presentation of the Joan Sanpera i Torras school in an assembly, where all the students and teachers of the center were present. They also introduced us to the two most important designers in the country, Marimekko and Alvar Aalto. In the afternoon we visited two of the most important monuments in the city designed largely by Alvar Aalto. Before lunch we worked on the design of key chains based on the Finnish Moomins and the typical Marimekko prints. We also had a taste of Cross-country skiing. It has been an intense day where we have been able to enjoy many new experiences. Tomorrow another intense day awaits us!
