Avui hem pogut gaudir de la visita a l’escola de secundària de OSYK que va ser fundada al 1902 i que forma part de la xarxa d’escoles de la Unesco. Al llarg dels anys l’escola s’ha anat transformant i en l’actualitat ens hem trobat amb un centre ple de vida i amb uns estudiants amb molta creativitat i iniciativa vers diferents projectes artístics, tecnològics i científics.

Des de l’escola, el professorat dona les eines als seus alumnes i els i
ncentiva per tal cadascú desenvolupi el seu procés d’aprenentatge i assoleixi els diferents diplomes amb què conta el batxillerat.
A més a més, hem pogut gaudir de l’explicació, dels projectes de dues alumnes del centre; les quals ens han explicat com han desenvolupat el seu pla formatiu basat en les arts i les ciències.

Tot seguit hem tingut el privilegi de poder fer una visita dels diferents espais que té l’escola alhora que ens hem enriquit i hem pogut comprovar de primera mà com la ciència i l’art coexisteixen a OSYK.
Amb la resta de mestres que participen del curs full STEAM in OULU, hem visitat la zona de Koiteli i hem pogut realitzar diverses activitats hivernals.

Today we have been able to enjoy the visit to the OSYK secondary school that was founded in 1902 and that is part of the network of schools of UNESCO. Over the years the school has been transformed and today we have found a center full of life and with students with a lot of creativity and initiative towards different artistic, technological and scientific projects.
From the school, teachers give their students the tools and encourage them to develop their learning process and achieve the different diplomas with which they count the baccalaureate.
In addition, we have been able to enjoy the explanation, the projects of two students of the center; who have explained how they have developed their training plan based on the arts and sciences.
Then we have had the privilege of being able to visit the different spaces that the school has while we have enriched ourselves and we have been able to see first hand how science and art coexist in OSYK.
With the rest of the teachers who participate in the full STEAM in OULU course, we have visited the Koiteli area and we have been able to carry out several winter activities.
Curiosities of the day…
- We have gone from -22 degrees yesterday to -1 degree (WHAT HEAT!!!)
- It’s been snowing all day
- Ikea meatballs are better than OULU meatballs
