Tallers de Nadal

Durant aquest mes de novembre, l’alumnat de la comunitat de grans hem estat dissenyant un taller familiar amb l’objectiu de crear unes manualitats. Cada nivell ha preparat un o més productes per vendre el divendres 2 de desembre a partir de les 5 de la tarda.

Ahir a la tarda, vam convidar a les nostres famílies per ajudar-nos en aquesta petita producció. Tots els diners que es recaptin amb la seva venda aniran destinats a les colònies de I5, 3r i 6è.

Des de l’escola volem agrair a tots els familiars voluntaris la seva ajuda desinteressada. Us esperem a tots i totes aquest divendres al pati de l’escola!

CRAZY RESTAURANT

The 3rd graders are working on the book Crazy restaurant. It is a very engaging story for their age that follows the Artigal methodology and that all the kids are enjoying a lot. For now, they are learning the story and they have started with the book for some weeks now. We have been talking about the food pyramid, the 5 food groups and they also have been practising the food vocabulary through role-plays. During the following weeks we will start a nice project about a restaurant that will end at the end of January.

Els alumnes de tercer estem treballant en el Crazy restaurant. Aquesta és una divertida història que segueix la metolodolgia Artigal i que tots els alumnes estan gaudint molt. De moment, estan aprenent la història i ja fa uns quants dies que estem treballant amb les activitats del llibre; hem estat repassant la piràmide alimentària, els 5 grups principals d’aliments, i també  hem estat practicant el vocabulari del menjar a través de diverses situacions teatralitzades. Durant les pròximes setmanes, duran a terme un mini projecte sobre un restaurant que durarà fins a finals del mes de Gener. 

Halloween a tercer

Last month we celebrated the Halloween festivity with the 3rd graders. We talked about what they knew and shared different points of view about this famous tradition from the English-speaking countries.

Moreover, we took advantatge of the English assistant, Gemma, and she explained us the way she clebrates Halloween in her country. We also worked on the vocabulary, played games and did written activities related to this festivity. In closing the Halloween week the 3rd grade students did a craft: a Halloween Scooby doo!!

El passat mes d’ octubre vam celebrar la festivitat de Halloween a la Comunitat de Mitjans i especialment a 3r i vam posar en comú els  coneixements dels alumnes sobre aquesta famosa tradició dels països de parla anglesa.

Vam aprofitar que a tercer tenim l’auxiliar de conversa, la Gemma, i ens va fer una petita explicació de com es celebra el Halloween al seu país. També vam recordar vocabulari, dur a terme activitats escrites i joc relacionats amb el Halloween. Finalment per tancar la setmana varem fer una manualitat: un Scooby Doo de Halloween!!

JUNGLE JOKE

Along the term the 2nd graders have been working on the Jungle Joke book. It is a very funny story about the jungle and for now, they already know the story quite well. We are learning many things; the animals vocabulary, the different actions animals perform, how to describe an animal, habitats … Over the coming weeks we will start the main project that will last until the end of January!

Durant aquest trimestre els alumnes de segon hem estat treballant amb el Jungle Joke. És un llibre que ens explica una història molt divertida sobre els animals de la selva i de moment, els nens i nenes de segona ja coneixen la  història força bé! Així, estem aprenent moltes coses; el vocabulari dels animals, les accions que fan els animals, com descriure un animal en anglès, els habitats… Durant les pròximes setmanes iniciarem el projecte principal que durarà fins a finals de Gener! 

SUPER I AND SUPER YOU

Last month the 1st graders started Super I and Super You. It is a very engaging superheroes story that  all the kids are enjoying a lot. For now, they already know the story quite well and they are practising with the characters dialogues. We also have been working on the colours, numbers, favourites, superheroes actions, introduciong ourselves…  During the next weeks we will start the main project  that will finish at the end of January!

El passat mes d’octubre els alumnes de primer van iniciar el Super I and Super You. Aquesta és una història molt engrescadora sobre superherois amb la qual els alumnes estan gaudint d’allò més. De moment ja coneixen de què va la història i ja fa dies que treballem amb els diàlegs dels personatges. També hem estat treballant els colors, nombres, coses preferides, les accions que fan els superherois, presentar-nos en anglès… I en les properes setmanes començarem el projecte principal que tindrà lloc fins a finals de Gener!

The Monster

Last month the I5 students started a project in English called The Monster. It is a very engaging story that follows the Artigal methodology and that all the kids are enjoying a lot. For now, they already know the story well and a few weeks ago we started with the materials related to the tale. I’m sure you are aware of it!

El passat mes d’octubre els alumnes de I5 van iniciar el projecte en anglès The Monster.  És una història molt engrescadora pels nens que segueix la metodologia Artigal i amb la qual els alumnes estan gaudint d’allò més. De moment, ja coneixen de què va la història The Monster i fa unes setmanes vam començar a treballar amb el materials que l’acompanyen. De ben segur que n’heu sentit a parlar!!
