20/06/23The 1st graders have arrived at the end of the book and the final project was to create a Theatre company.
Along the term they have been working on traditional fairy tales and therefore they chose to perform some well- known stories. They loved to get dressed and it was very amusing!!
Congrats to all the actors and actresses!
ALADDIN!
19/04/23This morning the 3rd graders have gone to Ateneu to see the theatre play Aladdin. It has been a great performance, with two great actors, music, songs, colorful decorations and it encourages a lot of audience participation.
Besides, FOUR of our students had the opportunity to come on stage; Emma was helping Aladdin with the clothes; Biel was helping Aladdin in the restaurant; Ferran was helping Aladdin with the orchestra and Martin dressed up as a painter for Aladdin’s ideal job: costumer designer!!!
We all had a great time🎭
Aquest matí els alumnes de 3r han anat al teatre de l’Ateneu a veure l’obra Aladdin. Ha estat una bona obra, amb dos bons actors, música, cançons, decorats vius i en la qual han fet participar molt al públic.
A més, quatre dels nostres alumnes han pujat a l’escenari: l’Emma ajudava a l’Aladdin amb la roba; el Biel l’ajudava al restaurant; el Ferran l’ajudava amb l’orquestra de música; i el Martin s’ha vestit de pintor per passejar per la passarel.la. Finalment l’Aladdin ha trobat la seva feina ideal: dissenyador de vestits!!!
CINDERELLA!
23/03/23This morning the 1st and 2nd graders have gone to Ateneu theatre to see the well-known play Cinderella. It has been an aboslutely hilarious performance, with some beautiful songs and with two great actors. It’s been a play where the participation of the audience is guaranteed!
Besides, two of our students had the opportunity to come on stage; Laia as the fairy godfather assisstant and Sebastian as the Prince of England.
It has been a very fun experience and we all had an amazing time!
Aquest matí els alumnes de 1r i 2n han anat al teatre de l’Ateneu a veure la reconegda obra de la Ventafocs. Ha estat una obra divertidíssima, amb boniques cançons i dos bons actors. Es una obra de teatre on demanaven molta participació del públic i s’ha fet molt amena.
A més, dos dels nostres alumnes han pogut pujar a l’escenari! La Laia com a ajudant de la Fada Padrí i el Sebastian com a Príncep d’Anglaterra.
Ha estat una experiència molt divertida i tots hem passat una estona ben entretinguda!
WE ARE SUPERHEROINES AND SUPERHEROES!
09/02/23The Super and Super You Project also comes to an end. Along the term the first graders have turned into Superheroes and Superheroines and have discovered their superpowers. Moreover, they can tell things about themselves and about their family. And they have discovered that together with their Superfamilies they are even more powerful!!
Finalitza també el projecte Super I and Super You amb el qual els alumnes de 1r s’han convertit en superherois i han descobert quins superpoders tenen. És més, ara poden explicar moltes coses sobre ells mateixos i sobre la seva família. Junts amb la nostra superfamília som encara més poderosos!!

07/02/23The Crazy Restaurant project comes to an end. Along the term the 3rd graders have learnt several things about food and nutrition, and all the vocabulary related to cooking actions and recipies. And we also have turned into great cooks!!

Finalitza el projecte Crazy Restaurant al llarg del qual hem après moltes coses sobre nutrició, els grups d’aliments, i tot de vocabulari relacionat amb el menjar i fins i tot com escriure una recepta. A, i ens hem covertit en grans cuiners!!

JUNGLE RESERVE
06/02/23The Jungle Joke project comes to an end. Along the term the second graders have learned who are Safari guides and what they do. Then, they have created an animal Reserve, and have made research about the animals they were interested in. Now, they all know many more interesting facts about the animals that live in the jungle and they also we have turned into great animal keepers and have received a safari guide ID card!

Els alumnes de segon hem tancat aquest primer quadrimestre amb la creació d’una resreva d’animals a la selva. Una experiència molt interessant; ara ja sabem moltes més coses sobre més animals i ens hem convertit en uns gran cuidadors. A, i a més hem rebut un carnet de guies de safari!

CRAZY RESTAURANT
24/11/22The 3rd graders are working on the book Crazy restaurant. It is a very engaging story for their age that follows the Artigal methodology and that all the kids are enjoying a lot. For now, they are learning the story and they have started with the book for some weeks now. We have been talking about the food pyramid, the 5 food groups and they also have been practising the food vocabulary through role-plays. During the following weeks we will start a nice project about a restaurant that will end at the end of January.
Els alumnes de tercer estem treballant en el Crazy restaurant. Aquesta és una divertida història que segueix la metolodolgia Artigal i que tots els alumnes estan gaudint molt. De moment, estan aprenent la història i ja fa uns quants dies que estem treballant amb les activitats del llibre; hem estat repassant la piràmide alimentària, els 5 grups principals d’aliments, i també hem estat practicant el vocabulari del menjar a través de diverses situacions teatralitzades. Durant les pròximes setmanes, duran a terme un mini projecte sobre un restaurant que durarà fins a finals del mes de Gener.
Halloween a tercer
21/11/22Last month we celebrated the Halloween festivity with the 3rd graders. We talked about what they knew and shared different points of view about this famous tradition from the English-speaking countries.
Moreover, we took advantatge of the English assistant, Gemma, and she explained us the way she clebrates Halloween in her country. We also worked on the vocabulary, played games and did written activities related to this festivity. In closing the Halloween week the 3rd grade students did a craft: a Halloween Scooby doo!!
El passat mes d’ octubre vam celebrar la festivitat de Halloween a la Comunitat de Mitjans i especialment a 3r i vam posar en comú els coneixements dels alumnes sobre aquesta famosa tradició dels països de parla anglesa.
Vam aprofitar que a tercer tenim l’auxiliar de conversa, la Gemma, i ens va fer una petita explicació de com es celebra el Halloween al seu país. També vam recordar vocabulari, dur a terme activitats escrites i joc relacionats amb el Halloween. Finalment per tancar la setmana varem fer una manualitat: un Scooby Doo de Halloween!!
