DESCRIBING MONSTERS

As Tanits created a monster to include in their invented group story, we continued inventing our own monsters. You can see that we created interesting monsters: some are funny, some are scary and they are all very different!

Trough different games we also learned all the necessary vocabulary to describe them. Just have a look at our creations!

 

BRITISH MONEY

If Alicies want to create a bakery, they will need to know about money. Alicies discovered that in England, where Laura lived, the people don’t use euros: they use pounds!

Alicies looked at the coins and they discovered that not all the coins are round and that they do NOT have numbers on it! They had to read the coins to discover the value and it was a bit tricky.

Now that they know the value they are learning to use different coins to pay the prices on the tags. Wow! How fun and interesting!

 

PETS

Rovellons have been discussing what animals could be pets and they learned a lot of animal names in English. Do you know what animal is a squirrel? Can it be a pet?

DICTIONARY RACE

These days TIntins discovered that, sometimes, it is faster to check words in the dictionary than asking Pedro or Laura.

OUR FANTASY CHARACTERS

As in the class they are creating the characters of their invented story, we have looked at the characters in the traditional stories.

We met the Wolf and he said he was sad because he did not have a name. Tanits decided to call him MIke. After that we decided to give names to all the characters. It was very fun!
