Ja estem a la recta final d’aquesta experiència i en el dia d’avui hem fet la visita a l’escola de primària Hintta School, que compta amb 360 alumnes. Just a l’edifici del costat hem pogut veure els alumnes de l’etapa 0-3 i 3-6.

La jornada ha estat molt interessant i hem visitat espais com la biblioteca que alhora és aula STEAM, els tallers on es desenvolupen activitats artístiques, els tallers de fusteria, els patis de l’escola i les altres aules. A l’escola dels més petits també fan ús d’una metodologia STEAM on l’aprenentatge està basat en la realitat més propera de l’alumnat. Actualment, hem vist com al pati estaven realitzant la construcció d’un castell de gel.

Després de dinar, ens hem dirigit a l’espai maker del centre on a més a més de veure alguns projectes iniciats pels alumnes també ens hem endinsat en el món de la impressió amb 3D, descobrint nous programes per treballar amb els nostres alumnes de l’escola.

Curiositats del dia… 
- La ràtio a 0-3 i 3-6 és 1 docent per cada 4 alumnes
- La ràtio a primària és 1 docent per cada 20 alumnes
- Si les famílies per necessitats de conciliació laboral ho necessiten, poden incrementar l’horari dels infants de 5AM a les 10:30PM
- Alguns carrers de la ciutat tenen calefacció per tal d’evitar l’acumulació de gel
We are already in the final stretch of this experience and today we have made the visit to the Hintta School primary school, which has 360 students. Just in the building next door we have been able to see the students of stage 0-3 and 3-6.
The day has been very interesting and we have visited spaces such as the library that is also a STEAM classroom, the workshops where artistic activities are developed, the carpentry workshops, the school playgrounds and the other classrooms. In the school of the little ones they also make use of a STEAM methodology where learning is based on the closest reality of the students. Currently, we have seen how in the courtyard they were building an ice castle.
After lunch, we have addressed the maker space of the center where in addition to seeing some projects initiated by the students we have also entered the world of 3D printing, discovering new programs to work with our students of the school.
