Hello everybody,
This school year, our 4th graders celebrated an unusual English Afternoons festival. It was our first performance to show our participation in an eTwinning European project. This project is called “Music to my ears”, where pupils and teachers will create a cover song in English. The goals are to create a song and to share materials, such as music sheets, concert tickets, audio mp3, choreographies, etc. Currently, there are four countries in this project: Italy, Czech Republic, Finland and Spain. This project enhances students’ abilities of working in a team and implements different digital tools in order to solve project tasks in English.
Thanks to this model of English Afternoon festival, they develop abilities to document themselves in their mother tongues and transfer the information in English in order to solve project tasks, but also, they create different materials in English as examples of collaboration and good practice.
