Managing groups in English: GUIAMNLL practice with primary students
Between the end of April and the beginning of May, a group of 6 first-year students of middle grade vocational studies on Mountain, Outdoors and Leisure Guide (GUIAMNLL) carried out two sessions of free-time activities in English with students of sixth grade at the 3 Pins municipal school.
This is a pilot test with the objective of putting into practice the skills of group dynamization and communication in the English language. The sessions were a success. Both the students and the teachers of 3 Pins school showed interest and involvement during the sessions, and expressed their willingness to plan more activities of this type during the next course.
The English department of the Institut de l’Esport will work to extend these activities with educational centers in the area and strengthen the link between the use of English and practical actions to consolidate the learning of our students.

Gestió de grups en anglès: pràctica GUIAMNLL amb alumnat de primària
Entre finals d’abril i principis de maig, un grup de 6 estudiants de primer curs del Cicle formatiu de grau mitjà en Guia en el medi natural i en el lleure (GUIAMNLL) va realitzar dues sessions de dinamització d’activitats lleure en anglès amb alumnes de sisè de primària de l’escola municipal 3 Pins.
Es tracta d’una prova pilot amb l’objectiu de portar a la pràctica les competències de dinamització de grups i comunicació en llengua anglesa. Les sessions van ser un èxit. Tant l’alumnat com el professorat de l’escola 3 Pins van mostrar interès i implicació durant les sessions, i van manifestar la seva disposició per a planificar més activitats d’aquest tipus durant el pròxim curs.
Des del departament d’anglès de l’Institut de l’Esport es treballarà per a estendre aquestes activitats amb centres educatius de l’entorn i enfortir el vincle entre l’ús de l’anglès i les accions pràctiques de consolidació de l’aprenentatge dels nostres alumnes.
