Throughout this course, Espriu Salt is carrying out an ERASMUS+ project called “Becoming Sustainable Together“. Some of our 4th year ESO and 1st year baccalaureate students are participating in this project, which consist of hosting in our schools students from another European school. In this occasion, fifteen students from Prague, Czech Republic, will visit us for a week. During this mobility, we will continue working on sustainability, and we will tackle issues such as renewable energies, the use of 3D printers related to sustainability and much more. These activities will be part of the eTwinning project named: “STEM for sustainability: Prague and Salt’s perspectives” that students from both schools started on November.
From the 18th March until the 22nd March, fifteen students from Základní Škola will be hosted by our students’ families. We are looking forward to having you among us during a whole week full of activities, such as discovering the Costa Brava, or the STEAM workshops at Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona.
In May, it will be the turn of Espriu’s students to enjoy the Erasmus+ mobility and study in a foreign school for a week, as well as to be hosted by students’ families in Prague and learn more about their culture. We are convinced that this educational exchange will be an enriching experience that will last in the memory of all participants, and also an opportunity to learn about sustainability, other cultures, and practice foreign languages.
La setmana vinent donarem la benvinguda als visitants estrangers de Txèquia
A l’Institut Salvador Espriu de Salt duem a terme el projecte d’ERASMUS+ “Becoming Sustainable Together”, en el qual participen alguns estudiants de quart d’ESO i primer de batxillerat. El projecte consisteix en un programa de mobilitat de grups d’alumnes entre centres educatius. En aquesta ocasió, ens visiten de Praga i estaran amb nosaltres una setmana. En aquesta estada de mobilitat es faran diverses activitats relacionades amb la sostenibilitat i energies renovables, a més de proporcionar el context ideal perquè els nostres alumnes practiquin l’anglès. Els alumnes porten treballant conjuntament des de novembre al projecte eTwinning anomenat: “STEM for sustainability: Prague and Salt’s perspectives”.
Concretament, la setmana del 18 al 22 de març ens acompanyaran quinze estudiants de l’escola Základní Škola, Txèquia. L’estada i allotjament el gaudiran amb famílies dels alumnes del nostre institut.
Estem molt il·lusionats de poder compartir una setmana plena d’activitats amb tots aquests joves. Visitaran el Parc de Fòrum a Barcelona, aniran fins a Empúries, passejaran per Salt i Girona, entre d’altres.
El mes de maig seran els nostres alumnes de l’Espriu els qui tindran l’oportunitat de gaudir d’una mobilitat Erasmus+ a Praga, on també s’allotjaran amb els mateixos estudiants que ens visiten ara. Aquest intercanvi educatiu permetrà una oportunitat única per a totes i tots. No només fomentarà la interacció i l’intercanvi cultural entre els estudiants de Praga i Salt, sinó també aprendran més sobre la sostenibilitat i es promourà un futur més sostenible.
Estem segurs que aquesta experiència enriquidora deixarà una empremta en tots els estudiants participants.
