Welcome to Espriu International
Institut Salvador Espriu is a large multicultural and diverse high school located in the heart of the town of Salt, just 80 kilometers from Barcelona and about the same distance from the south of France. It opened its doors in 1976 and it is the oldest high school in the area. It’s also well connected by railway, freeway and just about 10 km from Girona-Costa Brava airport.
There are about 800 students in our high school, including secondary and vocational training students, and 95 teachers. We honor the diverse nature of our students and promote social awareness and community involvement. Here, students study since they are in 1st ESO (11 and 12 years old) up to 4th ESO, when they finish secondary education. They can choose then between Batxillerat, which is aimed at preparing for university entrance, or vocational training. In the latter case, Salvador Espriu offers modules on Computing and Information Technology, Natural environment and leisure time, and Gardening.
