Folk art reflects the cultural life of a community. It can be described as art that is of the people, for the people and by the people. Karla Gerard, a self-taught artist from Maine, USA, is a good example of this type of art. She has developed a unique colorful naive style. So, for this workshop our students have painted an amusing and colorful landscape following Karla Gerard’s steps.
