En el dia d’avui hem visitat la Astrid Lindgrenskola de primària i secundària obligatòria. Apart de l’observació de classes i dinàmiques d’aula hem pogut viure en primera persona un projecte en que fan classe en plena natura, combinant el suec, la plàstica, les ciències naturals o l’anglès amb lliçons sobre cuinar, dormir al bosc, tenir cura del medi ambient i molt més.

La directora del centre ens ha mostrat les instal.lacions entre les quals destaquem la classe de costura, on els alumnes desenvolupen un projecte personal dissenyat i cosit per ells.
També ens ha explicat que apliquen les darreres metodologies per a la millora del procés d’aprenentatge, com per exemple l’aplicació del projecte Pulse en que els nois i noies fan 20 minuts d’activitat física abans d’iniciar les classes, per activar-se i concentrar-se millor.
10.00 a 12.00 Aprenentatge i dinar al “Bosc”
Ens hem traslladat a 4 km de Vimmerby on l’alumnat de 10 i 11 anys han anat amb bicicleta fins el que anomenen el Bosc. En plena natura, l’escola te un tipee indi, una caseta de fusta i una caravana on dormir i on guarden materials. Els alumnes treballen per grups en diferents estacions de treball com netejar i filtrar l’aigua del riu, preparar el dinar per a tothom, caçar i observar insectes del llac, dibuixar les plantes i arbres del lloc i anomenar-los en vàries llengües.

Els alumnes de 16 anys estan en el seu 4t any d’alemany. La classe ja es desenvolupa pràcticament tota en aquesta llengua. La professora combina les 4 destreses amb jocs de vocabulari.
Today, we have visited the Astrid Lindgrenskola of primary and secondary education. Apart from the observation of classes and lesson Dynamics, we have been able to experience first hand a project where students learn in contact with nature, combining lessons in Swedish, arts, science or English with learning how to cook, sleeping in the Woods and taking care of the environament.
8.20 a 10.00 Welcome by headmistress Anna Ljungqvist.
The headmistress of the school showed us the facilities, among which we could highlight the sewing lesson, in which students have to develop a personal project designed and sewn by themselves.
She also explained us that the follow the latest methodologies for the improvement of the students’ learning process, like, for example, the project called Pulse which consists on 20 minutes of physical activity a day before the lessons start so that students activate their bodies and concentrate better.
10.00 a 12.00 Learning and having lunch at the Woods
We have travelled to a forest 4 km away from Vimmerby where 10 and 11-year-old students arrived riding their bikes. In this forest, the school has got a tipee, a wood cabin and a caravan where students can sleep and Store material. Students cooperate in different workstations like cleaning and filtering the water of the lake, preparing lunch for everybody, catching and observing insects and drawing and naming in several languages the plants and trees of the area.
12.40 a 13.35 Observation of a German lesson with the teacher Lina Haglund
Their 16-year-old students are in their 4th year of German. The lesson develops almost completely in German. The teacher combines the 4 skills with vocabulary games.
