On 11th April our 1st ESO students were able to take part in a workshop carried by Josh, a native speaker from the USA who talked about the main curiosities from Washington D.C.
The workshop was fascinating, but also entertaining and appealing for the students. Besides learning about American culture, they had a great time.

This Wednesday, our 1st ESO students celebrated Halloween in their English class. They were asked to come disguised to the high school, and we have to say that they terrify us a lot!
We played an escape room in each class, we voted the best costume, and we played different Halloween games. We hope they enjoyed this different day as much as we did.

The Big Challenge
This course our 1st and 2nd of ESO students are going to have the opportunity to take part in The Big Challenge contest again. This week we have given them their passwords in order to start training for the real competition which will be held the last week of April.
The Big Challenge is a competition, a motivational tool and a good and unique opportunity for students to measure their level taking into account a national reference. We are sure that the online, interactive, modern, audio-focused contest is going to help them improve their level and motivation.
These weeks before the competition, our students are going to be able to prepare themselves through English Every Day, a game application available to everyone.
In the app, they are going to test their level through a level test, a class test contest and a daily discovery of a word or new audio expression
So we wish luck to all our students to do their best. We will announce the winners during May/June.
Last Friday 30th October, all 2nd of ESO students celebrated Halloween in the English class.

Com ja sabeu, el dia 22 d’abril, tot l’alumnat de primer de la ESO (80 en total) va participar al Big Challenge. Un concurs on mesuraven el nivell no només competencial dels alumnes del centre sinó el seu nivell cultural envers tots els països angloparlants.
