In the English class, we read “Oliver Twist” by Charles Dickens and we searched for information about its historical context (Industrial Revolution and Victorian Era). In order to create characters from different social classes for the final output of the project, we visited the Museu d’Història de Catalunya, where the students were dressed up in appropriate clothes, became characters of that period and prepared some sketches in English in different settings. Those were hard times!!
