On Friday the 30th October with 3rd of ESO we celebrated Halloween in a special way.
First we watched a video about the origins of Halloween and then we learnt what is an acrostic poem and read a few ones together. After that each student, on a drive document, invented an acrostic poem using a Halloween word.
Then the students wrote their poems on coloured paper sheets and we stuck all the poems on a board in the corridor making an amusing and colourful Halloween collage.
All students seem to enjoy this collaborative activity and as a teacher I’m really proud of the outcome!
