DEL TROS A LA LLAR

Dins del programa de fruita a les escoles, avui, les nenes i nens d’Educació Infantil i Cicle Inicial hem realitzat una sortida a una explotació fructícola de Rufea. L’activitat “Del tros a la llar”, ha consistit en la visita a un camp de fruiters, la degustació de fruita i la realització d’un taller.

READY, STEADY, GOOOO!

In this way we started one more English Day in Mestral school. This edition was about talents because we think EVERYBODY IS TALENTED, that’s why we carried out different activities to find our talent.

  • The first workshop was “COOKING” a pintxo with many ingredients, we decorated the plate and we ate it! It was delicious!
  • The second activity was the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS contest, in which we tried to break some records such as make a lego tower, stack glasses into a pyramid, sort jellybeans using chopsticks or throw paper aircrafts in a basket, they gave their most!
  • In the third activity children tried to remember everything learnt by playing the PASSWORD game, trying to identify the word by a definition given, they did it really well!
  • In the afternoon they became detectives who solved some cases in groups and finally we all danced in the playground the song that accompained us during all English day.

The little ones had the pleasure of listening to a tale told by Conxita, the teacher who worked in the school for many many years. Special thanks to Conxita for always coming and spending time with us!

It was such a funny day!!!

CIENTÍFIQUES LLEIDATANES

Avui hem rebut la visita de la Mariona i l’Amèlia, dues científiques lleidatanes que treballen a l’IRB.

Durant la visita ens han explicat el seu ofici, el paper de la dona a la ciència al llarg del temps i la rellevància de la investigació científica.

Per acabar, hem realitzat un taller en el qual hem representat cadenes d’ADN tot aprenent el paper de les seves proteïnes.

Ens ha agradat molt!

SETMANA DE LA RODA

Al llarg d’aquesta setmana, a l’escola durem a terme la “Setmana de la Roda” per la qual cosa s’han planificat diferents activitats:

  • Dimecres 15 de maig

El dimecres 15 de maig, al matí, anirem al pumptrack del nostre poble a gaudir d’unes classes de tecnificació a càrrec dels monitor del “Bike Aventure” de Vila-Sana. Caldrà que tot l’alumnat de l’escola porti la bicicleta o patinet de casa i el casc.

  • Divendres 17 de maig

El divendres 17 de maig, al matí, tot l’alumnat d’educació Primària (de 1r a 6è) anirem a fer activitats sobre rodes al pumptrack i al camp de futbol. Caldrà que tot l’alumnat d’Educació Primària porti la bicicleta o patinet de casa i el casc.

Ens ho passarem molt bé!

ENGLISH DAY ESCOLES RURALS

Boys and girls from 4th grade, had the great honor of participating in the 1st English Day of ZERs of Segrià in Sudanell.

In this meeting we found friends from ZER La Coma, L’Horta de Lleida, Alt Segrià, L’Oliver, l’Eral and of course, our mates from Vilanova de la Barca.

The English Day revolved around the Olympic Games: sports, athletes… and obviously everything in English!

In the morning we played games and learnt Scottish dancings with David Vivanco, he also played the Scottish pipe!!! After having lunch all together we had time to freely play and finally we participated in a gymkhana around Sudanell to get some instructions in order to make our Olympic Torch.

This morning, children wanted to explain the activities to their classmates because they had a great day of language immersion!
