Seguim amb el projecte eTwinning amb l’escola Stepping Stones dels Països Baixos! Aquesta vegada, l’alumnat de 5è ha creat un vídeo on expliquen les tradicions del Carnestoltes, incloent l’arribada del Rei del Carnestoltes, les ordres boges i el judici final. El vídeo va ser molt ben rebut pels nostres companys i companyes neerlandesos, que van enviar-nos pòsters sobre les seves pròpies festivitats, com el Koningsdag (Dia del Rei) i Sinterklaas (Sant Nicolau).

En grups cooperatius, els nostres alumnes van llegir i seleccionar la informació més rellevant dels pòsters per després compartir-la amb la resta de la classe. Ha estat interessant conèixer altres festes i descobrir semblances i diferències entre totes dues cultures. A més, els ha servit per practicar la comprensió i expressió oral i escrita de l’alumnat de manera contextualitzada i significativa.

 

 

 

 

 

We continue with the eTwinning project with the school Stepping Stones in the Netherlands! This time, the Year 5 students created a video where they explain our Carnival traditions, including the arrival of the Carnival King, the crazy orders, and the final trial. The video was very well received by our Dutch friends, who sent us posters about their own festivities, such as Koningsdag (King’s Day) and Sinterklaas (Saint Nicholas).

In cooperative groups, our students read and selected the most relevant information from the posters to share with the rest of the class. It has been interesting to learn about other festivals and discover similarities and differences between the two cultures. Additionally, this project has helped students practice their oral and written comprehension and expression in a contextualized and meaningful way.
