El dia 30 de gener es va celebrar el Dia Escolar de la No-Violència i la Pau (DENIP) coincidint amb l’aniversari de la mort de Mahatma Gandhi.
Per a commemorar aquest dia a l’escola ens vam reunir tots i totes al pati durant la tarda; així l’alumnat de sisè va compartir amb la resta de nens i nenes de l’escola la vida de tres dones reconegudes mundialment per la seva lluita activa contra les desigualtats, les injustícies i en favor de la Pau.
A continuació vam realitzar una acció conjunta amb tot l’alumnat i equip docent. Entre tots i totes vam construir un símbol de la Pau gegant a la pista i vam immortalitzar el moment amb la foto que podeu contemplar a la capçalera.
Va ser una bona oportunitat per reflexionar sobre la importància de la no-violència i sobre la necessitat de construir un esperit comunitari.

On the 30th of January we celebrated the International School Day of Non-violence and Peace which coincides with the death of Mahatma Gandhi.
To commemorate this day, the whole school met in the playground during the afternoon. Year 6 students shared three real life stories from three world recognised women for their activism against inequality, injustice and promoting Peace.
Next we did another whole school activity. We constructed the Peace shape with the participation of all the students and teachers and we took an aerial photograph of the shape to immortalize the action.
It was a good opportunity to reflect on the importance of non-violence and on the necessity to construct a strong community spirit.
