On Wednesday 23rd November some year 1 and year 2 ESO students had the chance to take part in another international activity of the Global Scholars project: using Skype and speak English!
Our students could skype with 11 year-old students from Warsaw (Poland) and ask questions in English to their Polish partners. They learnt about the differences between their schools, the weather and about Polish culture and cuisine. Also the Polish students asked them about the most famous monuments in Barcelona, Camp Nou and they were so surprised to learn that we are only 15 minutes away from the beach!
They had lots of fun and learnt a lot so they all want to skype in English again soon.
El dimecres dia 23 de novembre alguns alumnes de 1r i 2n d’ESO han tingut l’oportunitat de participar en una altra activitat internacional del projecte Global Scholars: trucar per Skype i parlar en anglès!
Els nostres alumnes van poder parlar per skype amb alumnes d’onze anys de Varsòvia (Polònia) i fer-li preguntes en anglès als seus companys polonesos. Van aprendre sobre les diferències entre les seves escoles, el temps que fa i sobre cultura i cuina poloneses. També els estudiants polonesos els han preguntat sobre els monuments més famosos de Barcelona, Camp Nou i es van sorprendre molt al saber que tenim la platja a tan sols 15 minuts!
Ho han gaudit molt i han après molt així que tots volen tornar a fer un skype en anglès aviat.
