Espai Plurilingüe
It is a fact that we live in a multicultural society where managing different languages and skills is a must. That is why INS El Cairat wants to give students the necessary tools to be competent in this society.
During school year 2015-16 our school was involved in the GEP project (Grup Experimental Plurilingüe) fostered by the Generalitat de Catalunya. The aim of the project was to teach other subjects in foreign languages (mainly English) in order to improve the English level of the students. These subjects were “Computer Science” and “Let’s Speak Music”.
We continued with such an appealing project during 2016-17 and we increased the number of students who took part in the project with subjects such as Computer Science, Social Sciences and two optional subjects in English among other small projects within the regular classes.
And during this course (2017-18) the school continues offering a range of activities within the classes using English as a means of communication in order to prepare our students for the future. That is why this is the fourth year we offer extracurricular lessons to prepare our students for different official exams with an international recognition such as the Cambridge First Certificate in English (we are a Cambridge Preparation Centre) or DELF for French.

Continuant amb la internacionalització del centre i amb la formació permanent del nostre professorat, el curs passat es va sol·licitar una beca Erasmus+ KA1 amb el títol “Noves metodologies per ciutadans del futur” que ens ha estat concedida recentment. Des de llavors el nostre professorat ha iniciat el projecte que té com a objectiu principal

The European Day of Languages
On 26th of September we celebrated the European Day of Languages. The date is designed to value and promote all languages and cultures in Europe. It is also a way to raise awareness of the importance of language learning in order to increase plurilingualism, to promote our linguistic and cultural diversity and to encourage lifelong learning.

Entrega de diplomes de francès a dues alumnes de primer de batxillerat. Avui hem entregat els diplomes oficials de francès DELF A2 que la Sara i la Sandra van obtenir el curs passat. Enhorabona noies !!!

INVESTEU: lliurament de certificats, taller de química, Exporecerca Jove…
El tercer dia d’Erasmus al centre s’han lliurat els certificats d’assistència a l’alumnat soci del projecte KA229. També han pogut participar d’un taller de química i d’un altre d’anglès i ciència. Dins el nostre projecte, han reflexionat sobre les exposicions orals que han realitzat tots els alumnes participants i han arribat a uns acords comuns.

Amazing electricity
Adolf Cortel, Premi Nacional de Física i exprofessor del nostre centre ha fet un taller sobre electricitat amb l’alumnat que participa al projecte Erasmus i del projecte propi “Gust i Passió per investigar”. Ens ha acostat el món de la física amb experiments sorprenents.

INVESTEU. Exposicions, tallers i Montserrat
L’alumnat d’Erasmus ha compartit els seus projectes d’investigació amb diferents grups del centre. També han gaudit d’una classe d’arts escèniques i dansa i del taller d’Amazing Electricity. A la tarda han visitat Montserrat i han fet relacions amb l’alumnat acollidor.

INVESTEU al nostre centre
El projecte INVESTEU del programa Erasmus + realitza la tercera mobilitat al nostre centre. Hem rebut alumnes de Vigo, d’Entroncamento (Portugal) i de Lindau (Alemanya). Hem estat rebuts a l’ajuntament pel regidor Juan Jurado i hem presentat el nostre projecte. Després s’han fet les primeres exposicions pels alumnes socis. Han compartit investigacions en anglès i hem après altres

Scottish Dancing
Our students of Batxilllerat enjoyed an amazing class of Scottish dance and culture. They learnt some aspects of Scottish traditions and we had the opportunity to listen to the beautiful sound of a bagpipe. Aquesta activitat es va dur a terme gràcies a la col·laboració de l’AMPA de l’institut.
